Clara Mokri is a freelance photojournalist, cinematographer and director from Los Angeles, currently based in the Bay Area. She received her BA in Political Science from Yale University in 2018 and her MJ in Documentary Film at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in 2021. Prior to getting her Masters, she worked in the photo departments at Vice and TIME, and as an editorial intern at Surfer Magazine.
Her work has been featured in TIME, Vice, Surfer Magazine, California Sunday, New York Magazine, Mother Jones, Sports Illustrated, Aint—Bad, The Pulitzer Center and Bay Nature Magazine, among others. She is a member of Diversify Photo and Women Photograph.
